Shortly after the Grand Prix update in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, Spyro fans got to work ripping the Winter Guardian Spyro model and adding it as a playable mod in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Sparrowii is the uploader of the mod itself.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy PC - Reignited Nicholas Kole Cynder Mod

The release of Nicholas Kole's fan interpretation of a Reignited version of Cynder in 2018 has sparked public interest on the character's fan design. 

After the release of the PC version of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, a mod by DragonSkyRunner is uploaded that features a Cynder based on Nicholas Kole's fan design of a Reignited Cynder. They even added a life icon for Cynder, and 3D models of Spyro's game cover poses on the game selection screen. 

Alternate color skins were also included for those who prefer the original dark-colored variant of Cynder from the first two installments of The Legend of Spyro reboot.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy PC - Reimagined Cynder Mod

Sometime after the release of the mod featuring Nicholas Kole's fan Cynder design, we are presented with another Cynder mod by Spyro fan FaithSDK. This mod features an original Cynder design based on her appearance from The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night.

Spyro to Get Possible New Content

In their recent Q2 2019 Earnings Conference, Activision Blizzard revealed they desire to create new content for Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot beyond remasters, even expressed interest in remastering their other IPs.
